A garden for interior designer Sarah Peake and her young family

In 2022, Tabi was commissioned by Sarah Peake to design her garden in Fulham. The interior designer was renovating a townhouse for her young family; the garden was designed to complement Sarah’s delightful and impeccable interiors.  

A timber clad extension to the house sets the scene, with large glass doors opening onto the smaller of two terraces. The planting was designed to evolve and show off the best of each season, whilst the hard landscaping material choices of Purbeck stone and reclaimed cobbles help bring gravitas to new garden.

Hornbeam columns also give the garden some traditional English charm, while deep borders of white hydrangeas, persicaria and hakonechloa are full of texture and complementary shades of green. Two Sorbus ‘Joseph’s Rock’ provide focal points.
