THE MILKING PARLOUR

Here we worked with architects Youngman Lovell to reimagine an old dairy farm turned art gallery in Berkshire.

Set in a working farm, The Milking Parlour was brought back to life as a lockdown project between the clients and many local craftspeople, designers and the architects themselves.

The surrounding landscape has been rewilded by the owners and we decided to take this as a source for inspiration and design something that traditional the left notions of a ‘garden’ behind.

Instead we created a relaxed and organic design that celebrates the margins, blurring the lines between the private formal gardens on one side and the farm on the other.
